Mission Statement
The mission of the Ministers of Order of the Union Baptist Church is to effectively maintain perfect order during church services by opening the doors at the appropriate times, greeting and seating members and guests as efficiently as possible, while remaining friendly, courteous, tactful and respectful. These attributes will help keep members and visitors returning.
The purpose of the church usher is to help make the service run as smoothly as possible and to eliminate confusion. This is a sacred duty and an important phase of the Lord’s work, the same as the choir and the Pastor. When these three units work together in a Church service, the service will be what God wants it to be.
Ministers of Order meet and drill every month on the second Saturday, unless otherwise notified.
